Introduction:

The Objects for which the Association exists are:

 

  1. to be an entity for health professionals who share Lebanese Heritage and interests in health, education and research within the United States and Lebanon

  2. to promote and pursue the furtherance of:

    • the education of its members, including but not limited to their professional skills and medical and/or health knowledge;

    • medical and / or health research amongst its members.

  3. to provide a forum for professional, educational and social exchange and projects amongst its members nationally and internationally;

  4. to improve health and wellbeing of all Lebanese and American people in our local communities throughout the USA and Lebanon.

  5. to foster linkages between the medical health profession in Lebanon and the United States and promote the exchange and education of medical practitioners and members of the health profession in accordance with its objectives;

  6. to advise on any medical and / or health issue, which includes, but is not limited to, advising any organization, association, institution, government or authority, supreme, municipal, local or otherwise on any medical or health policy issues in the United states and Lebanon;

  7. to provide a non-denominational, non-political, non-stock and not for profit association and forum for professional, educational and social exchange amongst its members;

  8. to conduct educational programs, seminars, training, lectures and the like in furtherance of the Association's objects;

  9. to print and publish any newspapers, periodicals, books or leaflets that the Association may think desirable for the promotion of its objects;

APPLICATION FOR MEMBERSHIP OF INTERNATIONAL LEBANESE MEDICAL ASSOCIATION-USA

SCHEDULE OF FEES

Entrance fee $0.00
Annual subscription fee: (First year of foundation 2020-2021 will be free for all members)
Subsequent years:
-Medical Students: 25$
-Medical Doctors: MD/DO in practice: 75$
-Residents, Fellows, Nurses, Technicians, Pharmacists, Dentists, Retired physicians and all other members: 50$

Those three regions are geographically compatible

Note that as ILMA expands and state chapters are created, the regions distribution could be changed. This will need a voting to occur by the Board members to change bylaws.
